Marry, Shag, or Push 'em off a Cliff

Whee!
Back to livejournal but only for a meme.
My new love is Twitter, I'm sorry to say. It works so well for me since I have short thoughts but lots of them. I contemplate expanding my twitter posts on lj at the end of the day...but never get around to it. Thus my twitterage displaces and satisfies my need to blog.

[info]ljmckay was playing Shag, Marry, Cliff and I had to play too.
My biggest problem was finding images to illustrate my fiction guys. THERE ARE NO GOOD PICTURES OF THESE PEOPLE. Oy.

Here's what she gave me:
Horatio, Miles, and that dragonrider guy from those books you were reading before spring break...
or James, Neil, and John Simm if you want to go RL.

So we have:
Horatio Horblower from the series of that Same Name by C.S. Forester

This boy and me get with the sexings. He is played by YOUNG IOAN GUFFOLD PEOPLE! I'd never marry him though, because he be in love with both 1) The Navy and 2) William Bush with a possible 3) Lady Barbara Wellsey depending on where in timline I'm snatching him from. I'd never see him again. It 's goes with the whole navy thing. Like the silly hats. Is a big issue in the books how often he leaves Maria behind for the sea. Also? He is just, in general, CRAP at marriage. Besides. He's already cliff-ed himself.

This is Lawrence. AKA that dragonrider guy from those books you were reading before spring break. He's from the Temeriare series by [info]naominovik .

He get's cliff-ed. Now this may be a bit dangerous for me, because cliffing a guy who has the undying devotion of an intelligent and ship-sized dragon is a risky move. When Lawrence did it Lien-the-dragon arranged to have Napoleon invade britain to destroy everything Lawrence or Temeriare held dear. Serious Business, see? Buuut. I don't want to marry him. And his sex appeal is close to zero.
Sorry Temeriare ~ Catch!

This is Miles Vorkosigan from the Vorkosigan Saga by one Lois McMaster Bujold. He rocks.
Devotion to duty and honor? Check.
Insanity and great plans that lead to exciting adventures? Check.
Going to actually be around and be fun to be married to? Oh HELL yes.
It doesn't hurt that due to writing styles, Miles is the most emotionally developed of the lads and that what is developed is awesome.

The IRL people are much much harder to decide on. But SO MUCH EASIER to have picturs of sice I have folders in 'My Pictures' for all of them.

I'll say shag James May because he might still keep in contact with me after said shag and I think he'd make a lovey friend. He has interesting ideas and has such a fun life.

Dear ol' Johnnny Simm gets the cliff. By elimination I'm sorry to say. ( Isn't that always the case though?)
But I can rationalise it! I swear! Er, later. When I've had time to make stuff up that doesn't confuse him with any of the characters he plays.

I'm going to marry Neil Gaiman. ( YES, OF COURSE YOU SAW THIS COMING) Mind, body, and soul please.Even though I'd neve get mentioned in his blog.
(But I'd still mention him on mine?)

nice pictures. :D

Good choices, really. I think I agree with you on the first one (particularly since I have no attachment to that Lawrence) and on the second, well, I might switch some of those around but it would be difficult. ;) lol @ your subtle subtle Sam reference. ;) Jeana gave me Sam, Mal, and someone else with major issues that I can't actually remember right now, and I told her it was mean to talk about Sam in conjunction with people being thrown off high places.

somewhat in relation to james may - my uncle took a facebook quiz and ended up as a Bugatti Veyron. :D
